School-Based & Children/Adolescent Counseling

SpringVale Health Centers provides accessible, high-quality counseling and case management services within several school districts in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties. We provide students, families, and school staff a direct connection to counselors and case managers while minimizing any disruption to the student’s normal school day, allowing them to reach their highest potential. 

SpringVale Health Centers offers the following services for youth ages 3 to 17:

  • Case Management

SpringVale provides school-based counseling services in the following school districts in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties: Dover City Schools, New Philadelphia City Schools, Tuscarawas Central Catholic, Carrollton Exempted Village Schools, Carroll Hills, Malvern, Buckeye Career Center, and all Head Starts in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties.

How we help.

Every student receives a comprehensive assessment to ensure an accurate, individualized, and appropriate treatment plan. Among the more common behavioral health conditions we can help students and families learn to manage include:

  • Anger Management/Low Frustration Tolerance

Who qualifies for school-based counseling?

Our behavioral health specialists, including case managers, are able to see individuals covered by Medicaid and private insurances. A sliding-fee scale (self-pay) option is also available. If you have any questions, our staff always ready to help determine the appropriate next steps in helping your student. Beyond behavioral health.

In addition to our school-based services, SpringVale Health Centers also provides individual and group counseling, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, psychiatry, adult and child case management, primary care, dental, and pharmacy services.

All services provided by SpringVale Health Centers are strictly confidential. Private health information will not be shared unless written authorization is obtained.
