Treatment works. People do recover.<\/strong><\/p>

The BRIDGES Program is a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program that combines proven medications\u00a0and individual and group counseling to help individuals who are battling addiction to\u00a0<\/span>opiates and alcohol. The program is located at at\u00a0<\/span>204 S. Bellevue Avenue in Dover.<\/span><\/p>

Recovery is not a destination. Recovery is a process.<\/strong><\/p>

The BRIDGES Program works for those truly dedicated to their recovery. The healing\u00a0process takes time and can be very difficult, both mentally and physically. The recovery\u00a0<\/span>program is uniquely designed to help you through those struggles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Following a comprehensive assessment, an individualized treatment plan will be developed.\u00a0<\/span>This includes\u00a0<\/span>determining which medication is best suited for the individual\u2019s needs \u2013 Suboxone, ReVia, or\u00a0<\/span>Vivitrol. Due to the nature of the medications used, a strict treatment plan must be followed.\u00a0<\/span>This plan includes completing a health assessment with labs, a minimum of 16 recovery-based\u00a0<\/span>meetings per month, weekly one-on-one counseling sessions, and complete sobriety.<\/span><\/p>

Will I receive medication at my first appointment?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Certain health screenings and lab work must be completed prior to you receiving any medications. Opioid antagonists (eg. ReVia, Vivitrol) require you to be clean from opioids for a minimum of 7 days prior to receiving your first oral dose. Partial agonist medications (eg. Suboxone) require you to be in mild opioid withdrawal at the time of induction.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

Is the program free?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

The health center accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances. A sliding-fee scale also is available for those who qualify. For more information, call the health center. What happens if I relapse while on the medication?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

The success of your recovery requires honesty with our recovery staff and, most importantly, yourself!
